Are you a skilled motel manager ready for an exciting new challenge? Our newly revitalised motel in the vibrant town of Moree is seeking a motivated individual or couple to step into an onsite management role. This is your chance to bring your expertise to a standout property, featuring state-of-the-art digital access systems, partially renovated rooms, and the renowned hot artesian springs.
About the Role: Starting December 6 (or potentially earlier), we’re looking for a dynamic leader who can work flexibly, with options like 3 weeks on and 4 days off. Initially, only about 30 rooms will be open, as we are in a slower season with minimal traffic expected (10-15 rooms per night). The successful candidate will have solid support from an experienced team, ensuring they won’t be managing everything alone.
We also plan to take long-term tenants for the self-contained apartments, reducing the daily turnover workload. Additionally, B Block, a separate section with 25 rooms not yet renovated, will temporarily house a crew of contract workers with only weekly turnover, making this area easier to manage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Manage reservations using RMS and SiteMinder.
  • Collaborate with a talented team to foster a welcoming, secure, and vibrant environment.
  • Assist in preparing the property for increased operations in the coming months.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experienced in high-quality motel management, with RMS experience preferred.
  • High-energy, hands-on approach with a willingness to tackle varied tasks, including basic maintenance and handyman duties as needed.
  • Some trade skills or practical experience in maintenance would be beneficial to support day-to-day operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, driven by a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • National Police Check and current First Aid Certificate required.

About the Role:
Manage day-to-day operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
Oversee the Guestpoint property management system (PMS). Handle in-house laundry responsibilities (towel services). Maintain the property by cleaning cobwebs, trimming plants, and overseeing pool upkeep.
Lead and coordinate the housekeeping team (outsourced linen). Manage in-house liquor sales, requiring RSA and RMLV certification.
Effectively manage revenue, debtors, and ensure smooth CRM processes.
Key Requirements:
First Aid Certificate RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification 
RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues) certification 
National Police Check (current) Ability to oversee property maintenance and provide a welcoming environment for guests.
